Microsoft has announced that it will soon remove games and DLC packs from the Xbox 360 Marketplace, including games like The Witcher 2, Far Cry 2, Assassin’s Creed games, and more.
According to a recent post on the Xbox Support website, Microsoft says it will be removing many games and their associated DLC packs from the Xbox 360 Marketplace in select locations starting on the 7th. February, 2023.
“Some game titles and related accessories will be removed from the Xbox 360 Marketplace in a selection of parts of each title. “Once purchased, you can re-download these games or previously purchased games from your Xbox 360 Download History.”
Since Microsoft only mentioned the Xbox 360 Marketplace in its statement, it seems that most of these games can be bought back from the regular Xbox store, assuming they are imported. . We hope Microsoft will clarify this.
