John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s family just got a little bigger!
The couple’s baby was born on January 13, the proud father confirmed his baby’s arrival hours later.
Legend, 43, told a crowd at a private concert that they welcomed a “little baby this morning.”
“What a blessed day,” he said.
The singer added that while he “didn’t get much sleep” he “feels energized” after spending “a lot of time” in hospital.

Attendees of the special event immediately took to social media to share the big baby news.
“@johnlegend Just told us he had a baby this morning,” one concertgoer wrote.
Their baby was born in October 2020 after experiencing a heartbreaking pregnancy loss. The couple are already parents to son Myles Theodore, 4½, and daughter, Luna Simon, 6½.
Speaking to PEOPLE in March, the multi-hyphenate talked about preparing for their new addition to their family.
“We’re all excited,” Legend said, “and, you know, my kids are old enough to really know what’s going on, so they’re really looking forward to a new beginning in their lives.” is a brother Be good at being a big sister and a big brother.

In September, Teigen, 37, told PEOPLE that Luna and Miles were “so excited” about the new addition to their family and that they had learned about her early pregnancy.
“When we did IVF, we knew maybe nine days after we did the transfer that it had worked and we were pregnant,” she said. “I told them very, very quickly.”
“They knew I was going in for the transfer, that we were going to go in and put this egg in the womb, so they knew from the beginning, and they knew there was a chance that it would can’t work Happened earlier,” explained Tegan, who announced her pregnancy in August.
